The Green Building Council of Montenegro (GBC MNE) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting and advancing sustainable construction practices. Our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability in the building sector, improve the quality of life for Montenegrin citizens through environmentally friendly architecture, and support the transition to green and energy-efficient buildings. By fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, advocating for policy changes, and providing education and training, we aim to drive the transformation of Montenegro’s construction industry towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
Founded in Podgorica, GBC MNE is part of the global green building movement, working towards innovative, eco-friendly solutions in urban planning, renewable energy, and circular economy practices. Through international cooperation and knowledge exchange, we strive to position Montenegro at the forefront of green building initiatives.
